Controller and purpose
Mukarrar is published by Idriss CHAIBI. He is responsible for the processing described here for this website devoted to Quranic Duplicates.
Public pages do not require an account. An account with a verified email is needed only for member features.
Account and sign-in
Registration requires a username, email and password, not a civil name. Account dates, verification status, sessions and security information are also processed.
Account provision and member access are based on performance of the requested service. Abuse prevention and security events serve the legitimate interest of protecting the service and its users. Mandatory fields are needed to create an account.
Verification and recovery messages use the configured mail provider. Two-factor authentication requires additional security information when enabled. At your request, a single-use code can be sent to the account’s already verified email address for this second check.
Browser preferences
Language and theme cookies last one year from storage. Hidden groups and the search highlight preference remain in local storage without a programmed expiry; they can be cleared with the site's browser data.
The table return position may be stored for the browsing session, without device synchronisation. Site installation caches icons and an offline page, not all tables or private documents.
Retention and recipients
Session cookies and verification links expire, but expiry does not automatically delete an account. For requests about your account data, contact contact@mukarrar.com.
Necessary data are accessible to the publisher and authorised hosting and mail providers. No advertising reuse is planned.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You may send these requests to contact@mukarrar.com, also shown on Contact. No self-service account deletion button is promised here. You may also complain to the French CNIL.
Security check
The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated registrations. Loading it connects your browser to Cloudflare, which processes technical connection and browser data. Our server validation sends the service key and token without adding your username, email, password or IP address. External services
App store links lead to separate services whose own policies apply when you visit them.
Account protection
The owner can suspend or reactivate a member account and close its sessions to manage access or protect the service. These actions are recorded in the security log; they do not automatically delete accounts or documents.
Retention criteria
Account data is retained to provide the requested account and access while the account is maintained. Requests to close an account or erase data are reviewed by the publisher at contact@mukarrar.com; suspension alone is not deletion.
Security information is retained to the extent necessary to prevent abuse, investigate an incident or defend legal rights. Its necessity is reviewed when handling a request or incident. Specific retention may be required by law or a dispute.
Backups support recovery after an incident and are not a public history. Erasing a live account does not instantly erase every backup copy; any restoration must take previously processed requests into account.
